1. Turn the robot off then on, and scan for WiFi again. Wait until a purple LED is blinking on the display before scanning for robot’s WiFi.

2. If you still cannot see the robot’s WiFi, you can configure your device to directly connect to the robot’s WiFi as a hidden network. Refer to the instruction below for your device, if your OS is not listed, search for how to connect to hidden network for your OS:

   Windows 10:

   1. In the lower-right corner of your screen, click the WiFi icon.
   2. Click Network Settings > Wi-Fi > Hidden Network > Connect.
   3. Enter the SSID (network name). This should be CYOBot
   4. Click Next.
   5. Leave the network security key (password) blank
   6. Click Next.Your computer should now connect to CYOBot WiFi.

   Windows 8:

   1. In the lower-right corner of your screen, click the WiFi icon.
   2. Click Open Network and Sharing Center.
   3. Select Set up a new connection or network.
   4. Click Next.
   5. Select Manually connect to a wireless network.
   6. Click Next.
   7. Enter CYOBot for Network name, Security type should be None and Security Key (password) should be left blank.
   8. Click Next. Your computer should now connect to CYOBot WiFi.

   Windows 7, Vista:

   1. Select Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Networks.
   2. Click Add > Manually create a network profile.
   3. Enter CYOBot for Network name, Security type should be None and Security Key (password) should be left blank.
   4. Select Start this connection automatically.
   5. Select Connect even if the network is not broadcasting.
   6. Click Next. Your computer should now connect to CYOBot WiFi.

   Linux:

   1. Click Wi-Fi Settings > Connect to Hidden Network.
   2. In the Connection drop-down list, select New.
   3. Enter CYOBot for Network name, Wi-Fi security type as None, and password is left blank, if any.
   4. Click Connect. Your computer should now connect to CYOBot WiFi.

   Mac OS X:

   1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, click the WiFi icon. A network menu appears.
   2. Click Join Other Network.
   3. Enter CYOBot for Network Name, Security type as None, and Password is left blank, if asked.
   4. If you want to automatically connect to this network in the future, select Remember this network.
   5. Click Join. Your computer should now connect to CYOBot WiFi.

3. If problem still persists, factory reset your robot by following Factory reset WiFi settings then try scanning for robot WiFi again.

Alternatively, use another device to scan for the robot’s WiFi.

• If other devices can scan and connect to the robot’s WiFi, you can continue to use the robot with that device, or use that device to configure the robot’s WiFi via Portal (see Connect to the Internet via Portal for more information).
• If you want to continue using the current device with the robot, refer to Connect to the Internet via micro SD card to connect the robot to another WiFi instead of using the robot WiFi.
